Paper and PET cups from Türkiye, delivered under your own label
Optima Cup supplies and exports single-use drinkware from Istanbul: hot and cold paper cups, clear PET cold cups, paper and PET covers, soup bowls, ice cream cups, salad bowls and party buckets. Buyers arrive with a size, a volume and a destination port, and leave with a written offer, a print-ready cup and one counterpart responsible for the whole shipment. Nothing here is sold from a shelf at a fixed rate.
The cup goes out wearing your name
The reason most importers source drinkware abroad is branding: a takeaway cup travels through a street in the customer's hand, which makes it the cheapest visible surface a café chain, hotel group or vending operator owns. Artwork you supply is reproduced around the wall of the cup by flexographic printing, in up to six colours depending on the item, and the finished cartons carry your identity rather than ours.
Send the design as a vector file together with the size and volume you have in mind. Print area, colour separation and the position of the side seam are checked against the die-line of that specific cup before anything runs. Covers stay unprinted, since the branded face is the cup itself.
Ounces, millilitres and the cover that actually seats
An ounce label names a size family rather than an exact fill. Across the hot range, 4 oz corresponds to 100 ml, 6 oz to 150 ml, 7 oz to 180 ml, 8 oz to 240 ml, 9 oz to 250 ml, 12 oz to 350 ml, 14 oz to 400 ml and 16 oz to 480 ml. Clear PET runs from 8 oz at 250 ml up to 22 oz at 650 ml.
Covers follow the rim diameter, never the ounce figure. The 8 and 12 oz hot cups meet at an 80 mm rim and close with the same cover; the 14 and 16 oz pair off at 90 mm; 6, 7 and 7.5 oz sit on 70 mm; the 9 oz keeps its own 76 mm rim; and the whole clear cold range is drawn on 95 mm, so a single flat or domed cover serves it end to end. Every catalogue entry states rim diameter and height, so a pairing can be settled before it is quoted.
Cartons, pallets and how a container fills
Cups travel nested in sleeves inside export cartons, and the count per carton moves with the size. Small hot cups run 3000 to a carton, the 8, 9 and 12 oz sizes 2000, the 14 oz 1000, while wide items such as salad bowls drop to 500 or 300 pieces because volume rather than weight decides what the box holds.
Loading is a cubic calculation for the same reason. Box measurements, gross weight and, where they are published for an item, 20' HQ, 40' HQ and truck quantities appear next to that product, and the loading plan is confirmed on your offer along with the HS code your broker will ask for. The delivery term is fixed per order: EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP, chosen on the request form, not assumed.
Board, coating and contact with the drink
Hot cups start as cup board with a polyethylene film on the inner face, and the board weight shifts with the job: 229 gsm on a 7 oz tea size, 232 gsm on a 12 oz, 310 gsm where the wall has to stay rigid, as on the 14 oz. Paper cold cups keep the same inner film, since condensation attacks an uncoated wall as surely as heat does.
A double wall adds a second board layer with trapped air between them, which is what removes the need for a separate sleeve on filter coffee. PET belongs to the cold side only: it stays clear and stiff for iced drinks, smoothies and layered desserts. Materials in contact with the drink are food-grade, and the documentation belonging to your production run is issued at the offer stage.
From enquiry to loaded truck
There is no checkout and no card payment on this site, and that is deliberate: a wholesale figure only means something once size, print, volume and destination are on the table. You send the request, a written offer comes back, and when you approve it a proforma invoice is raised against that specification.
Production is scheduled once the transfer has cleared, and space is booked as soon as the run closes, so you know when the cartons are ready instead of guessing. Plain samples of the sizes under consideration can go out ahead of a first order, letting your team judge board thickness, rim finish and cover seating by hand rather than from a photograph.
