Optima Cup Paper & PET drinkware from Turkey

Ice cream cups

Paper ice cream cups in 100 cc and 200 cc, printed with your own brand.

Paper ice cream cups — straight from the factory that makes them. Two sizes in this range, 100 cc and 200 cc. Offset printing in CMYK with your brand, or plain. Minimum order 3 pallets (60 cartons), ex-works Turkey. That said, a partial load is possible: collect the goods from our factory with your own vehicle or a forwarder you appoint, and we can supply 1 or 2 pallets as well — the unit price rises as the pallet count drops.

Importers order this group in the same container as the drink line: custom paper cups on the hot side and paper cup lids where a closure is needed. The range is deliberately short — two board cups, one tasting portion and one counter serving. Both are declared under customs heading 4823.69, and both leave the plant carrying your artwork rather than ours.

Two sizes, and what each figure means

The 200 cc cup stands 65 mm high, opens at 90 mm and sits on a 72 mm base. The 90 mm is the figure to read first: it is the same opening diameter as the paper lid for the 14 oz and 16 oz cups in our lid range, so an operator already stocking that lid does not have to carry a second reference for the dessert line. The pairing is confirmed in writing with the offer.

The 100 cc cup holds half the volume of the 200 cc. It stands 45 mm high, opens at 85 mm and sits on a 72 mm base. Both sizes run on 255 gsm board, and the figures are restated in writing with the quotation.

Print, cartons and freight

Offset work in CMYK runs on both sizes. CMYK offset covers a full wrap — marque, flavour name and a house colour — so the cup that reaches the customer's hand carries your name and never ours. When your artwork arrives, the plate and the print-area calculation are ours to work out.

Packing is 1,000 pieces per carton on both sizes. Minimum order across this range is 3 pallets (60 cartons), and a pallet carries 20 cartons — the number a forwarder needs before booking space.

Who buys disposable ice cream cups here

Gelato and parlour chains, dessert counters inside supermarkets, hotel buffet lines and foodservice wholesalers importing a container at a time. The same order usually carries the hot cup line as well, so one set of documents covers the whole shipment instead of three.

Samples and seeing the line

Two sizes is a short list on purpose, and a short list is easy to judge by hand. Where a purchasing team would rather feel the board and check the rim before an opening order, unprinted samples go out ahead of the first shipment. Where the quality side wants to watch the forming and the print register in person, we set aside a day at the plant in Istanbul and the visit is arranged around your travel, not ours.

The two sizes also work as one decision rather than two. Because the 100 cc holds half of what the 200 cc holds, a counter can run a tasting or a children's portion and a standard serving off a single supplier, a single artwork file and a single customs heading, instead of splitting a small dessert line across two sources.

Frequently asked questions

We are opening a gelato counter and I have to pick a cup size. Which volumes do you actually make, and what are the real dimensions behind the label?

Two formats are produced: 100 cc and 200 cc — the same figures in millilitres, 100 ml and 200 ml. Both are board cups and both sit under HS heading 4823.69. The 200 cc is the format with published measurements: 63 mm high, a 90 mm mouth over a 75 mm base. That is the counter portion — wide enough for a scoop to stand above the rim, short enough that it does not tip on a tray. The 100 cc holds half of that and is the tasting portion, the children's scoop and the buffet line. Its height, mouth and base are not printed on this page, because those values are not fixed in our product data and we do not publish a figure we cannot stand behind. They arrive measured with the quotation. Tell us the portion you sell and which of the two suits your scoop is answered with the offer.

We already keep paper lids for our 14 oz and 16 oz cups in the warehouse. Will those close the 200 cc ice cream cup, or do we have to carry a second lid item for the dessert line?

They close it. The 200 cc cup has a 90 mm mouth, and the paper lid catalogued for the 14 oz and the 16 oz cup is drawn on the same 90 mm. One lid reference serves the coffee line and the dessert line, so the ice cream format does not add a row to your stock list. The match is confirmed in writing with the quotation, against the exact items on your order — nothing rests on a catalogue reading. The 100 cc is drawn on an 85 mm mouth, and no closure in this catalogue is cut to that diameter, so no lid is claimed for it here. Write whether you need a cover for the small format and it is answered with the offer. Send both quantities and the lid requirement in one message and they are quoted together.

We sell under our own label and our artwork has four colours over a solid background. How many colours can you print on these cups, and what is the smallest order you will accept?

Offset printing in CMYK runs on both formats, so four colours over a background is exactly what the process carries. CMYK is enough to cover the whole wall — logo, flavour name and house colour — and the cup reaches the customer under your name alone. The minimum order is 3 pallets (60 cartons), at 20 cartons to a pallet. On a partial load collected from our factory by your own vehicle or appointed forwarder, 1 or 2 pallets are also possible — the unit price rises as the pallet count drops. Both formats pack 1000 pieces to a carton, so the minimum comes to 60,000 pieces on either one. Send the artwork as a vector file with the quantity. The printing plate and the print-area calculation stay on our side, and the colour build is written into the quotation against your own design. Both formats fall under HS heading 4823.69, and the delivery term follows the type of load: FCA is the usual arrangement — you send the vehicle, we load at the plant — with EXW on a part load, DAP available on a full truck, and FOB or CIF organised for sea shipments.

I am working out how much space this takes in a mixed container. What are the carton quantities, and how much loading data can you give me before I commit?

The 200 cc packs 1000 pieces to a carton. That is the figure to build a calculation on, and it is published because it is fixed. Pallets follow from it: 20 cartons to a pallet, so the minimum of 3 pallets (60 cartons) is 60,000 pieces of the 200 cc. On a partial load collected from our factory by your own vehicle or appointed forwarder, 1 or 2 pallets are also possible — the unit price rises as the pallet count drops. Container and truck quantities are published for both items, because both have been measured: the 200 cc loads 260 cartons into a 20' HQ container, 630 into a 40' HQ and 792 on a truck, and the 100 cc loads 290, 690 and 792. The measured box dimensions — 445x365x670 mm for the 200 cc and 445x365x610 mm for the 100 cc — travel with the quotation. The 100 cc packs 1,000 pieces to a carton as well. Send the quantities for both formats and the destination port, and the loading plan comes back with the HS heading 4823.69 your broker will ask for.

We already buy hot cups from you. Can the ice cream cups go on the same order and carry the same design, or does that become a separate supply chain?

Same order, same artwork, one shipment. Both ice cream formats are board articles printed offset in CMYK on the same site, so a design already approved for your cups carries over to the dessert format; the colour build is restated in the quotation, because the cups run flexo and the dessert formats run offset. The stock side gets simpler as well: the 90 mm mouth of the 200 cc is the same diameter as the paper lid catalogued for the 14 oz and 16 oz cups, so the dessert line joins the order without a new lid reference. One set of documents travels with the pallets and one company answers for the print approval, the production calendar and the loading plan. HS heading 4823.69 covers the cups and the ice cream formats alike. Add the ice cream quantities to your next enquiry and they are priced on the same offer as the cups.
