Optima Cup Paper & PET drinkware from Turkey

Lids

Paper and PET lids matching the cup diameters in the catalogue.

Lids — straight from the factory that makes them. 6 products in this range. Cartons of 1,000 pcs. Lids are supplied plain; the branding is carried on the cup itself. We supply vending operators, wholesalers, importers and foodservice distributors, ex-works Turkey. Minimum order on the board lids is 3 pallets (60 cartons); on the clear PET covers it is one full truck load. For the board lids a partial load is also possible: collect the goods from our factory with your own vehicle or a forwarder you appoint, and we can supply 1 or 2 pallets — the unit price rises as the pallet count drops. This does not apply to the PET covers.

Covers here ship plain because the identity belongs on the cup: custom paper cups carry the print, and paper ice cream cups follow the same logic. Paper cup lids and clear PET covers are listed here by the diameter they close, never by the drink they sit on. Six articles cover three diameters — 80 and 90 mm in board, 95 mm across the whole clear range — under three customs headings. An ounce marking describes the capacity of a cup and says nothing on its own about fit.

Three diameters, six articles

Board covers are two articles, and the opening decides the fit. The 12 oz part is cut to 80 mm and shuts every 80 mm shell in the catalogue: the 8 oz cup in single and double wall, the 12 oz hot cup and the 12 oz cold cup. The other part is cut to 90 mm — the rim on the 14 and 16 oz cups in both ranges and on the 200 ml ice cream tub. Both fall under HS 4823.69.

The clear side is wider. One flat PET cover is listed under HS 3923.50, and three raised parts — two domes and a sip cover — sit above it under HS 3924.10. All four are cut to 95 mm, so any clear cover here seats on any clear cup in the catalogue, PET cold cups and dome lid cold cup sets alike.

The two domes and the sip cover

A dome is bought when the drink is built above the rim: whipped cream, a heap of crushed ice or a fruit dressing keeps its height instead of being pressed flat by a level cover. The dome with a straw hole goes to iced coffee, bubble tea and slush counters, where the straw drops through the cut and the topping stays intact. The solid dome carries no cut at all, for a display cabinet, a tray or a delivery bag where an opening would let liquid climb out.

The sip cover answers a straw ban. It clips onto the same rim and carries a moulded drinking spout, so the customer drinks from the cover and no plastic straw is handed over. All three share the 95 mm opening, come packed 1000 to the case and clear customs under 3924.10, on their own line beside the flat PET article. They joined the range after the flat cover and are missing from older article lists.

Rims without their own lid entry, and how to order

Two lines decide a paper cup lids order: the rim diameter in millimetres and the quantity per diameter. The catalogue publishes its own entry for 80 mm, 90 mm and 95 mm. A lid is also available for the 62 mm rim of the 4 oz cup, for the 70 mm rim shared by the 6 and 7.5 oz cups and for the 72 mm rim of the 7 oz cup, although those entries are not published yet; the ice cream cups open wider still. Send the volume and the quantity for those and the answer comes in writing with the offer, instead of an unmeasured fit being waved through.

Covers ship plain and nothing here is printed: the identity travels on the cup wall, and one neutral stock then serves every printed design at the same counter. Pieces per box for the board and flat articles are confirmed against your list; the raised group is fixed at 1000. Send diameter, material, quantity and destination country; the written reply covers packing, the customs heading and the delivery term. Production, invoicing and export sit with one company in Turkey.

How many references you will hold

A lid is chosen by rim diameter, not by volume, and that one sentence changes a distributor's shelf: every clear cup in the range — 12 sizes, from 8 oz to 24 oz — finishes at the same 95 mm rim. So twelve cup sizes need one lid diameter in stock, not twelve.
On the board side there are two: 80 mm and 90 mm. Three diameters cover the whole catalogue. It also cuts the wrong-item risk — name the diameter on the order line and we match the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Are paper lids and PET lids interchangeable?

No. Board parts are cut for 80 or 90 mm and transparent ones for 95 mm, and a few millimetres are more than enough to stop a cover seating.

Match by diameter before anything else: the ounce marking on the article name tells you which cup family it was drawn beside, not whether it grips the shell on your counter. Send the rim measurement and the pairing comes back confirmed in writing.

Both groups ship plain: the logo goes on the cup wall, so one stock of covers serves several printed shell designs and nothing is stranded when the artwork changes. The three dome and spout parts pack 1000 pieces to a box, and the headings are 4823.69 for board, 3923.50 for the flat PET and 3924.10 for the domes and the spout. The minimum order is not the same on both lines: on the board lids it is three pallets, that is 60 cartons; on the PET side it is one full truck load. On the board lids, a partial load collected from our factory by your own vehicle or appointed forwarder can also be 1 or 2 pallets — the unit price rises as the pallet count drops; this does not apply to the PET lids.

Send your cup sizes and we map every lid to its cup in a single table with the quotation.

What is the HS code for paper cup lids?

Board covers are declared under 4823.69, the flat transparent PET covers under 3923.50, and the three dome and spout covers on 95 mm under 3924.10. Cups follow their own material the same way: board shells on 4823.69, clear PET shells on 3924.10.

Codes appear on every offer issued, so your broker can prepare the entry before the goods sail. Final classification always rests with the customs authority at the port of arrival.

Three headings can sit in one container, which is why the code stands on every line of the offer and the proforma, with the delivery term written beside it: EXW or FCA as standard, DAP only for regular, high-volume orders, FOB or CIF by sea. The minimum order is not the same on both lines: on the board lids it is three pallets, that is 60 cartons at 20 cartons to the pallet; on the PET side it is one full truck load. On the board lids, a partial load collected from our factory by your own vehicle or appointed forwarder can also be 1 or 2 pallets — the unit price rises as the pallet count drops; this does not apply to the PET lids.

The HS heading travels with the order file; name your destination country and the delivery term you work on, and we prepare the paperwork with them.

Can lids be printed with our logo?

They ship plain. The identity in a takeaway set rides on the cup wall, the surface a customer sees and holds, so flexo printing is applied there instead. Keeping the closure neutral has a practical side as well: a single stock of parts serves several printed shell designs, seasonal artwork included, without stranding covers that no longer suit the current cup. Lids are produced unprinted; your brand goes on the cup body. We do not print lids, which is why the lid stays a single stock item and closes every size sharing that rim diameter.

Which lid sizes do you list?

Board parts are catalogued in two diameters: 80 mm, listed as the 12 oz lid, and 90 mm for the 14 and 16 oz cups. Transparent PET parts run to four articles, all on 95 mm: a flat cover, a dome with a straw slot, a closed dome and a clip-on drinking spout.

An ounce marking only tells you which shell the part was designed beside, so read the opening instead — the 80 mm board part shuts five different cups, and one PET part shuts every clear cup.

The three shaped parts pack 1000 pieces to a box. Every lid ships plain — print belongs on the cup wall — and the headings are 4823.69 for board, 3923.50 for the flat PET and 3924.10 for the domes and the spout.

Write the diameters you need; we state plainly which are in the catalogue and which are not.

Can we order lids without cups?

Yes. This section is sold on its own, which suits importers who already buy shells locally but cannot find a closure that fits them.

The three dome and spout covers are packed 1000 pieces to a box; for the remaining articles the quantity per box is quoted against your order. Give the diameter, the material and the quantity, name the destination country, and packing plus the agreed delivery term appear on the written reply.

Yes — lids ship on their own. Send the quantities and the destination and the quotation follows.
