90 mm paper cup lids for the 14 oz and 16 oz cups, produced in our own Istanbul factory. The 90 mm rim runs across 6 board cups in our range — single-wall, double-wall and cold-drink versions — and this lid closes every one of them, so importers stock a single lid code for the whole large-cup group. Lids are supplied plain; print belongs on the cup. Sold EXW Turkey to wholesalers, importers and foodservice distributors, HS code 4823.69, minimum 60 cartons.

What the 90 mm lid looks like on paper for an importer

Certification: lids come off the same certified lines as the cups — ISO 22000:2018 food safety management, certificate no IQR.016/FSMS.0067715, valid to 30 June 2027, plus ISO 9001:2015 and food business registration TR-34-K-094873. PDFs are on the certificates page.

Minimum and partial loads: 60 cartons of this lid, which is 3 pallets at 20 cartons each. A 1 or 2 pallet quantity is released only when your own vehicle or your forwarder collects at our factory, at a higher price per lid. Pieces per carton, gross weight and m³ are not on the data sheet for this article, so they are not estimated here — the quotation states them once the production plan is fixed.

Cups it seals: the 90 mm rim is identical on 6 board cups in our range and this single lid closes all 6. The lid is not printed; your logo runs on the cup wall in up to six flexo colours.

Speeding up the quotation: quantity, the cups' print colours, which cups the lids go with, and the destination port. The proforma quotes HS code 4823.69 and the delivery term agreed with you.

Diameter and material

Ninety millimetres is the larger of the two board diameters here. A part cut to this measurement closes the two biggest board drinks on a menu, while the smaller diameter handles the five cups below them.

The part is board rather than plastic, which is the usual reason operators switch: it keeps cup and closure in the same material family for waste sorting.

Frequently asked questions

Does the 90 mm paper lid fit both the 14 oz and the 16 oz cup?

Yes. Both cups are rolled to 90 mm in this catalogue, so the same board closure seats on either one.

That is why the board system has two diameters rather than four: the larger measurement covers the two biggest cups and the smaller one covers the two mid-sized cups. Fit is set by the rim diameter, not by the cup's ounce name.

The carton count of the lid itself is not published; the figures of a cup it matches are: the 14 oz single wall cup packs 1,000 to the carton, with 310 cartons in a 20' HQ container and 750 in a 40' HQ. Put the lid and the cup on the same line and both enter one container plan.

How do staff avoid picking the wrong lid?

Separate the two diameters physically and label them by millimetre rather than by ounce. Keep the 90 mm parts next to the two largest cups and the 80 mm parts next to the mid-sized ones.

Mistakes almost always happen when both sizes sit in identical sleeves at the same station during a rush, which is a layout problem rather than a product one.

The board lid is not printed; the logo goes on the wall of the cup it closes, in flexo up to six colours. A lid sample ships plain from catalogue stock; a printed sample needs a plate on the cup side and therefore belongs to the order. Tell us which cup you are pairing it with and lid and cup come back on one offer.

Why will an 80 mm lid not fit the 14 oz or 16 oz cup?

Because both cups are rolled to 90 mm, and ten millimetres of difference is enough to stop a part seating. The smaller board closure is cut for the two mid-sized cups and does not stretch.

Check the roll of the cup you are buying rather than the ounce label on the box, because the same ounce figure appears on cups with different rims across materials and shapes.

Do board lids hold well enough for takeaway?

They are supplied for exactly that service, and the result depends on how the part engages a 90 mm roll.

Because a filled 14 oz or 16 oz cup is heavier than a small drink, this is the pairing worth testing physically before a first order: request plain samples with your enquiry and try them on your own cups, in your own carriers, before artwork is approved and a run is booked.
