80 mm paper cup lids, made in our Istanbul factory alongside the cups they close. This is the 12 oz lid: it seats on the 80 mm rim shared by 5 board cups in the catalogue — single-wall, double-wall and cold-drink — so one lid code covers all of them. Lids ship unprinted; branding goes on the cup wall. Supplied EXW Turkey to wholesalers, importers and foodservice distributors under HS code 4823.69, with a 60-carton minimum per item.

Because it is board rather than plastic, it is the part chosen by operators moving away from plastic closures on the drink line without changing the cup itself.

Figures a lid importer asks us for

Food-contact paperwork for the lid: the lid is made under the same ISO 22000:2018 system as our cups (certificate no IQR.016/FSMS.0067715, valid to 30 June 2027), with ISO 9001:2015 and food business registration TR-34-K-094873 alongside. The certificates page holds the PDFs.

Order size: the floor is 60 cartons of this lid, i.e. 3 pallets at 20 cartons each. Smaller — 1 or 2 pallets — works only if your own vehicle or your forwarder collects at our factory, and the per-piece price climbs accordingly. The data sheet for this article carries no pieces-per-carton, gross weight or m³; rather than guess, we put them on the quotation once the production slot is fixed.

Cups it fits: five board cups in the range finish at 80 mm, and this one lid closes all 5. The lid itself stays unprinted — branding goes on the cup wall in up to six flexo colours.

To quote quickly: tell us the quantity, how many print colours the cups take, which cups the lids pair with, and the destination port; the proforma then carries HS code 4823.69 and the delivery term you agree with us.

Read the rim, not the label

In this catalogue the 8 oz cup at 240 ml in both its single wall and double wall versions, the 9 oz at 250 ml and the 12 oz at 350 ml are all rolled to 80 mm, and the cold drink shell at 350 ml uses that measurement too.

What decides whether a part seats is the outer diameter of the roll. In the board range here there are two measurements and nothing in between: 80 mm on the five mid-sized cups, and 90 mm on the larger ones.

Frequently asked questions

Which cups does the 80 mm paper lid fit?

The 8 oz and 12 oz board cups, at 240 ml and 350 ml, because both are rolled to 80 mm in this catalogue, the 8 oz also in a double wall version, and the cold drink shell at 350 ml shares that measurement.

One board part therefore covers a small hot drink, a regular hot drink and a regular cold drink. The two largest board cups sit at 90 mm and take the other closure.

The carton count of the lid itself is not published; the figures of the cup it matches are: the 12 oz single wall cup packs 2,000 to the carton, with 330 cartons in a 20' HQ container and 800 in a 40' HQ. Put the lid and the cup on the same line and both enter one container plan.

Why is it called a 12 oz lid if it also fits an 8 oz cup?

Because the trade names closures after a cup rather than after a diameter, and that convention is kept here so order sheets stay readable across suppliers.

Fit is set by the roll, not by the name: 80 mm is 80 mm whether the cup below it holds 240 ml or 350 ml. When you order, quote the diameter alongside the article name and the pairing is verified in writing before production.

Is there a paper lid for the 4 oz, 7 oz or 9 oz cups?

Yes. This 80 mm lid closes the 9 oz shell as well; a lid is also available for the tea and coffee sizes grouped at 70 mm, for the 7 oz at 72 mm and for the espresso cup at 62 mm; tell us in your enquiry which lid you want and we confirm it in writing, with its dimensions, in the quotation.

Only two diameters have their own catalogue entry so far, 80 mm and 90 mm. If a small size has to leave your counter closed, raise it in the enquiry and the position on that article is confirmed rather than assumed.

Can a board lid be used on a cold drink?

Yes, provided the cup is board. The cold drink shell at 350 ml uses the same 80 mm roll as the hot version, so the same closure seats on it.

What a board part does not fit is a clear PET cup, which opens at 95 mm and takes a transparent closure. Match by material and rim together rather than by the ounce marking shared across the two ranges.
