The board here is heavier than the 6 oz and 7.5 oz cups beside it, 214 gsm of standard laminated white under an 18 gsm PE film, and each cup weighs 4.8 g. If your drinks are poured hot and stand for a while before being finished, that extra structure is the reason to choose this size over the lighter alternatives.
